Padma Awards: The prestigious Padma Awards were bestowed upon those who have made significant contributions to Indian society.
The Padma Awards are among the highest civilian honors in India, recognizing remarkable contributions across diverse fields such as art, social work, public affairs, science and engineering, trade, medicine, literature, sports, and civil service. Conferred annually on Republic Day, the awards come in three prestigious categories: Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri. The Padma Vibhushan is presented for exceptional and distinguished service, reflecting the highest level of recognition. The Padma Bhushan acknowledges distinguished service of a high order, while the Padma Shri honors notable individuals who have made significant contributions in their respective fields. Collectively, these awards celebrate the spirit of excellence and dedication, inspiring others to strive for greatness in their endeavors.
The Padma Awards are prestigious honors conferred annually by the President of India during ceremonial functions at Rashtrapati Bhawan, typically held in March or April. In 2025, the President has approved the conferment of a total of 139 Padma Awards, which includes a duo case that counts as a single award. This year's list features 7 recipients of the Padma Vibhushan, 19 winners of the Padma Bhushan, and 113 Padma Shri awardees. Notably, 23 of the honored individuals are women, reflecting a commitment to recognizing contributions from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, the list includes 10 recipients from the categories of foreigners, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), along with 13 posthumous awardees, ensuring a broad spectrum of excellence is celebrated across various fields.

President's Police Medal: while the President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service was awarded to exemplary officers.
Police Medal for Gallantry: In addition, courageous acts of heroism were celebrated through the Police Medal for Gallantry and the Police Medal for Meritorious Service. Total 95 people are getting awards in various fields.
State Awards: Each state and force presented their own list of deserving awardees, highlighting the collective dedication to duty.
Jeevan Raksha Padak Awards: recognized individuals who have saved lives, embodying the spirit of selflessness. The President of India has officially approved the conferment of the Jeevan Raksha Padak series of awards for the year 2024, recognizing the bravery and selflessness of 49 individuals. Among these honorees, 17 have been awarded the prestigious Sarvottam Jeevan Raksha Padak, while 9 recipients have been celebrated with the Uttam Jeevan Raksha Padak. Additionally, 23 individuals have received the Jeevan Raksha Padak. Notably, six of the awardees will receive these honors posthumously, reflecting their ultimate sacrifice and dedication to saving lives. This recognition highlights the significant contributions and acts of courage demonstrated by these individuals, inspiring others to act heroically in the face of adversity.
Veer Gatha Awards: Lastly, the Veer Gatha showcased inspiring tales of valor, reminding the nation of its unsung heroes who continue to protect and serve with unparalleled commitment.
